People and organisations who are criticised in a material way should receive a reasonable opportunity to respond where practical.

Advertising and sponsored material must be clearly distinguishable from independent editorial coverage. Payment does not guarantee favourable news coverage.

Children, privacy and dignity

We consider privacy, safety and dignity—especially when reporting on children, victims and vulnerable people. Contributors must have the right to share submitted photographs and information.

Corrections and complaints
